Our Story
IVIS didn't begin as a school — it began as a conviction. Here's how understanding the times became a curriculum.
Where We Come From
Issachar Vision International Schools is an institution of The Men of Issachar Vision Inc. (MIV), a Christian organisation whose calling is awakening and missions — helping the Church, and the community around it, understand the times and know what to do. That same charge, drawn from 1 Chronicles 12:32, is where our school's name and motto come from. Education became a natural extension of the mission's love for its host community in Ojoo: alongside the Issachar Medical Center, the founders established IVIS to raise children who are both academically excellent and spiritually grounded — Godly and Goodly, in the words of the school's own charge.
Today, IVIS carries that same DNA forward — passionate, qualified educators, a School Management platform that keeps every parent in the loop, and a culture where understanding, applied consistently, really does give an edge. Every Morning
Before timetables begin, IVIS gathers — a short, unhurried moment of devotion, values and shared purpose that sets the tone for everything that follows. It's a small ritual, but it's the clearest picture of who we are: a school that teaches character before it teaches content.

Meet Our Incredible Team
Our administrator holds the day-to-day rhythm of IVIS together — from admissions enquiries to the School Management platform parents rely on for regular updates. An open-door approach means no family's question goes unanswered for long.
Our principal leads the JSS and SSS arm of the school, championing a culture where every student — science-inclined or arts-inclined — is stretched toward their own personal best and prepared with confidence for WAEC/NECO.
Our headteacher oversees Creche through Primary, ensuring the earliest years at IVIS are warm, structured and full of wonder — the foundation every later "edge" is built on.
Our academic consultant works alongside heads of department to keep the curriculum current — reviewing outcomes, mentoring staff and benchmarking IVIS against the best schools in Nigeria and beyond.
